This one day excursion takes place in the Alpujarras, the last Muslim lands of al-Andalus.
Witness millenary olive tree plantations and terraced mountains, networked by the al-suqiya irrigation systems left behind by the Muslims.

During the day, we will introduce you to the the Alpujarras' valleys. On our ascend, we will see the many small white villages, some of which still have their old, Muslim minarets. still holding their old Muslim minaretes. We will have a chance to explore one of these villages, see the clever irrigation system and the natural water springs. Afterward, we descend into the main village of Orgiva where we may enjoy a meal at the famous Cafe Baraka. Here, you can get a taste of Alpujarra and what its picturesque atmosphere has to offer.
