As a Granada based Cultural Organization, we collaborate locally with artisans in organizing workshop events and courses. We count with specific workshop installations and tools for each workshop, teaching rooms as well as conference halls and two different exposition centers in Granada. Together with our logistics network formed by professional collaborators, we synchronize any service required to travelers, towards a smooth stay and learning. We have contacts within the Local Authorities, Organizations, Associations and Communities in different Andalusian towns such as Cordoba, Sevilla, and our hometown, Granada.

Arabic Calligraphy:
Spacial Order and Control: An introduction to the Ruqu'a & Diwani Calligraphy Styles
Arabic Calligraphy is the practiced art of spacial harmony, order and control.
Level I: Introduction to Arabic Calligraphy, Ruqu'a & Diwani Styles
A free 16-hour workshop, held in four double-weekend sessions. lasting 2 hours each.
Workshop Objectives:
1. To learn the simple Ruqu'a style. Students familiarize themselves with the Arabic alphabet, focusing esthetics, order and scale. They will learn about paper texture, visual harmony in spacial control, and how to skillfully use their Qalam (pen).
2. To use calligraphy as a language of abstract and artistic expression, independent of the actual language written.

The Art of Islamic Pattern
Practical Workshop & Lecture.
Intensive 4 day program in Granada, with a study field trip to the Alhambra!
Discover how to create patterns of profound beauty and subtle complexity; develop your artistic skills in our Islamic arts & crafts workshops. In these unique skills-based courses, students explore a range of classical Islamic designs using traditional methods and integrating freehand biomorphic motifs with geometric designs. Try your hand at painting, gilding, ceramics, marquetry, stone and plaster carving. Workshops are supplemented by the examples and lectures of artist and geometer, Richard Henry, and sculptor and calligrapher, Adam Williamson. The two instructors have given workshops, presentations and public lectures at The British Museum, The British Library, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Shakespeare's Globe, The Prince's School of Traditional Arts, The Slade School of Fine Art, The Royal Society, Asia House, Cambridge University, Pardis University, Isfahan and Zaytuna College in Berkeley (USA).
