Coach Group Tours

A choice for large coach groups, or smaller groups with the highest service standrads, including private modern bus and dedicated driver as well as our main local Travel Assisting Guide and City Highlight UNESCO Guided Tours, so fully equipped, from arrival to departure. Meals are optional but are also a highlight of this service. Our tours are very complete, though by allowing more time you can also browse our dedicated section for each city to book extra activities or tours at each location.

Courtesy or VIP Driver choice for Smaller Groups

For smaller more familiar groups, we take in mind more strategic cost saving standards. A private vehicle will be driven by courtesy of our main local Travel Assisting Guide and City Highlight UNESCO Guided Tours are still  included from arrival to departure. Meals are optional and can also be achieved ‘on the go’. Our tours are very complete, though by allowing more time you can also browse our dedicated section for each city, to book extra activities or tours at each location.

Totally Independent Tour Option

Our third option is to take our Travel Plan at your own pace and style. For this we have separated our Travel Plan Hotel Packages and also scheduled our main City Guided Tours & Activities into a weekly agenda offering them as a package offer independently from our main group tour, or the hotels. Our tours are very complete, though by allowing more time you can also browse our dedicated section for each city, to book extra activities or tours at each location, allowing you to hop on and off any of our Guided City Tours as you go!

Welcome presentations, introduction to Andalusia and Spain on our way to Córdoba.

Pick up at Málaga International Airport and transfer to Córdoba (170 km). Welcome presentations, introduction to Andalusia and Spain on our way to Córdoba. After arrival, check-in to our hotel in Córdoba’s town centre, a leisurely walk through the Medina Al-Qadima of Córdoba, our first welcome dinner and finally an evening rest at your hotel in Córdoba,

Our hotel choice is based on a 3-4 star good hotel standard, while we also consider location within the city centre of each of the cities so that we are always a walk or short taxi ride away from the pedestrian city centre in the evenings. We include our hotel selection within the prices in our regular tours and indepedent hotel packages, whereas when you are given the choice to choose your own tour dates, within our private tour service packages, we will need to attach a custom hotel package once you provide us with your arrival and departure dates towards your tour.

Welcome Dinner in Cordoba’s Historical Medina

Brief presentation of the city and dinner in Cordoba's most ancient town.

After a brief presentation of the city, we will take a night walk around Cordoba’s Mosque/Cathedral. You are free to spend your evening in Cordoba at a traditional, courtyard tea salon, where we will be serving a very special welcome dinner unless you have opted out!

Day 2 – Córdoba, Capital of the Umayyads.

Visit to Medinat Al-Zahra & Spanish lunch nearby.

Guided visit of the Umayyad Mosque of Córdoba and Medinat Al-Zahra

In the morning we will have our guided visit of the Umayyad Mosque of Córdoba, one of the oldest structures still standing when Muslims ruled Al-Andalus in the late 8th century. After this, we will continue to Medinat Al-Zahra, the Caliph’s Court City Palace’s archaeological site, research & exhibition centre.

Free time is for extra activities, rest, or shopping!

After lunch, free time is given for any extra activities, rest, or shopping!
Allotted free time is given for meals, prayer, rest and shopping in the afternoon. Besides a lively town centre and many shops, there are today’s three active mosques in Córdoba worth visiting. This could be an opportunity to meet some locals while walking your way around town.

Cordoba-granada

From Cordoba to Granada, the Last Muslim Kingdom of Al-Andalus.

Fast route from Seville to Granada, the Last Muslim Kingdom of Al-Andalus.

After lunch, we will continue to Granada for an active program there, the next day. The route from Córdoba to Granada contains views of many castles, towers, ‘zagras‘, white villages,whereby we can vividly recreate the historical vision of this whole period, the last Muslim lands of Al-Andalus, into the former Kingdom of Garn’atta, today’s Granada. We will be cruising along what was formerly for around 250 years border between the Muslim Kingdom of Granada and the four Spanish Chrisitan Kingdoms, after their conquest of Cordoba. A quick stop along the way will allow travellers to gain some knowledge about the Olive Oil industry, enabling us also to purchase olive oil & traditional rural products, in best quality and price.

Once in Granada we will again check-in to your hotel and set our meeting time for an optional introductory walk, merging the modern city center with a brief presentation of the city center, a fusion of Souq markets, old alleyways, riverside & the active modern city appeals. This will lead us to independent leisure time, optional dinner arrangements and extra activities. Welcome to our home town Granada!

Day 3 – Granada, the Last Muslim Kingdom of Al-Andalus.

We have many options for dinner in Granada, however in order to highlight the historical aspects of cultural fusion of Al-Andalus, we take our favourite Moroccan restaurant and make a welcome dinner here at our base home town.

If you are leaving on a Friday, we would like to recommend you to book a late evening flight home from Málaga International Airport.
